Bible Verse:
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
What it reveals:
One of the things we can trust is that God is always working things together for our good. But, to be clear, He's working things together for those of us who love Him -- for those of us who follow Him, trust Him, obey Him, and are led by Him.
This verse serves as a constant reminder that no matter how hard life may be, no matter how many unexpected circumstances we may face, no matter how terrible the world may look, Gods got us. If we are under God's covenant (promise/guarantee) of working things together for our good [grace], then we will experience all of His goodness in the end. Sometimes it's not about how you started as much as it as about how you finished.
Prayer:
Thank you, Lord for your goodness and mercy towards us. Thank you, God for all that you have worked together for our good. Thank you because you have plans to prosper us and not harm us. May we receive your goodness and, never lose sight of the good that outweighs the bad. May we never lose our wonder towards you.
